CELT, the Corpus of Electronic Texts is Ireland’s longest running Humanities Computing project. It brings the wealth of Irish literary and historical culture to you on the Internet, for the use and benefit of everyone worldwide. It has a searchable online textbase consisting of 13.2 million words, in nearly 1100 contemporary and historical documents from many areas, including literature and the other arts.
This experimental search interface uses Google’s custom search. It will search resources on both CELT and our sister project, Multitext.
AlternativeRight.com, launched on March 1, 2010, is an online magazine of radical traditionalism. As such, it marks an attempt to forge a new intellectual right-wing that is independent and outside the “conservative” establishment.
This is the link to the starting point of this series; the author is an investigator and former security type guy who appears to have direct experience with what he talks about, which is how to survive when the SHTF in a foreign country.
I suppose some of his ideas would work here at home in times of trial. Let’s hope we don’t have too many of them.

The other thing you are going to have to do is lead. You may think its a given, but its one of the single biggest components missing in a crisis. When the #### has hit the fan there is no room for democracy. One person must lead and direct and the others must follow.
CCW classes teach about using shooting tactics and techniques, clearing holsters, and repeating the worn and increasingly untrue statement that most shootings happen at night with less than five shots fired inside seven yards. Very few are teaching students how to lead their people and/or families out of harms way.
Hang with me on this, because the immensity of leading a group, regardless of who they are in your life (co-workers or family), out of an extended hostile environment is far more important than the weapons cache you have in your room.
