Why are American white women so anxious to adopt a “dusky little heathen” child from the Third World? It’s the latest fad of the White Woman Saviour, and it carries high status.A white American women must adopt a Third World child (preferably a non-white) to really keep up with the savior image. It’s a grand American tradition, dating back to the early 19th century Christian missions. Only today, you don’t have to be Christian at all…

So what are the real issues involved is this social phenomenon?

White women are obviously still operating on the grand old Christian missionary template. But what about the “single mom” bit? Is that an extra, thrown in to aggrandize the nobility of motherhood? Is that about self or about the child? What happened to the father figure? Is that not important any more? Ingraham is quite forthright about her Christianity (Catholic). Is the father figure not in that picture?

And why the craze for foreign babies? America has plenty of “home grown” infants and children available. Shouldn’t an American patriot mother’s first concern be for American babies? Why the rush to bring alien children here? Are Third World (or even European) countries anxiously adopting American children? Of course not. Let’s be honest: America is the dream country. America is where everyone wants to come. America is the place they want their children to come.

Angelina Jolie really dramatized the role of the American white woman savior grabbing up the darkest, blackest babies, from deepest, darkest, most miserable Africa (as well as Cambodian, Vietnamese, and possibly Syrian). She and Madonna. That’s the extreme, of course. That is the zenith of the white woman savior image. Shall we not ask, however, why she didn’t adopt an American Negro child, if race was the issue? Or why not simply adopt an American white child? Is there something wrong with that? Or, is it not dramatic enough to suit the heroic vision of self-importanc? Do these white women have any knowledge, or even concern, about the foreign child’s present and future feelings, or the adopted child’s psychological development?

...This business of bringing in the “dusky little heathen” is racism. It is an incredibly careless, selfish move, actually. It is bad for the child, and for the country. Yes, it is a noble instinct in the American white woman. It truly is. But, it is gone awry at this point, and needs advice and guidance.

Perhaps the white race needs some humility at this point. The white woman should honor her own white race. Does she feel above race? Does she really feel so suprior to other races as to save them? I say her white “racial” capital has used up. She needs to love her own race. If she doesn’t, she is a curse to the country. Beware.

Karen: The biggest cause of infertility now is sexually transmitted diseases brought on by promiscuity. Chlamydia is the most common and is asymptomatic whilst it destroys the pelvic organs and blocks the fallopian tubes. It also diminishes male fertility and some of the statistics on the links below show massive rises in its incidence…

Laura:Excellent points. While sexually-transmitted diseases are a major cause of infertility today, I’m not sure it is possible to say they are a greater cause than delayed child-bearing. Also, the two factors can work in combination.

Karen: Sexual promiscuity is a massive cause of infertility and preventable if people were to abstain from sex until marriage but this message is never advised by experts…The sexual revolution was truly a disaster for women and men and the whole of Western society. CBS News Investigates Serious Questions about the Legitimacy of Some Ethopian Adoptions

Now a CBS News investigation has discovered that growth has turned Ethiopia into fertile ground for child trafficking - a country in which some American agencies and their staff engage in highly questionable conduct.

Adoptive families allege that many children brought to the U.S. are not even orphans, that prospective parents are misled about a child’s health and background, that local families are recruited - and sometimes even paid - to give up their kids.

Christian World Adoption is one of 70 agencies licensed to operate in Ethiopia. Beyond the alleged payment to their father, the Bradshaw sisters say they were told by local employees of Christian World they were only coming to America for an education; that they could return home when school was out. Not true. In fact it’s virtually impossible to reverse an adoption in Ethiopia.

“I thought I was going to be kind of like an exchange student,” Journee said. “Honestly, I never knew that I’m going to be here forever.”

“We have watched our kids grieve and cry and scream and melt down from the bottom of their souls over the loss of their country and their family,” Katie Bradshaw said.

A monstrous practice, all to satisfy the desire of American parents to be saviours, when only Christ can save us.

Adoption is legalized child trafficking

On the wall of their office in Brussels is a large world map with green, red and blue dots. Green for the ‘open’ adoption countries, red for the countries that closed the doors. And blue ones representing the regions which Roelie Post (49) and Arun Dohle (36) have so far examined: Malawi, Ethiopia, China, Peru and India.

Their goal is a “red world”: five years from now inter-country adoptions should have been stopped. According to them, it is “legalized trade of children”, where vulnerable children are exchanged for large sums of money. Their description of adoption has, John Le Carré-like features: stolen babies, unscrupulous traders, cheating orphanage directors and forged adoption procedures. This is, as they say, the rule.

And we should not forget the 60 million American babies who were sacrificed on the altar of abortion. My understanding is the the difficulty of adopting a White American child is partly due to these babies being “unavailable” due to abortion, leaving families unable to have children of their own to the options of international adoption or the “kind’ ministrations of the infertility treatment industry. And, of course, sometimes their infertility is caused by STDs, but sometimes the cause is unknown, or medically induced by a mother who took doctor-prescribed meds during pregnancy, leaving the child to grow up and discover they have reproductive birth defects (DES).

It’s a little hard to generalize on the causes of infertility, there are so many.

This does not count those who think they’re doing the world a favor by adopting its kids, like Jolie and Madonna and the many people who consider themselves adopting the dusky because it’s the Christian thing to do (sarcasm intended).

But the practice of international adoption certainly looks to be fraught with questionable, corrupt actions.

That attitude is completely toxic, and the poor kids are serving as some kind of perverted status symbol.

Yes, very right that it is toxic and that it is a status symbol, but the PCA is so hot to wipe out all vestiges of its former “racism” that even things done for mere appearances are welcome, as long as they portray the correct image. I’ve even seen multiple races in a single household. Of course these kids growing up in bi-racial and multi-racial homes studies have shown to be more susceptible to depression and other mental health issues. People say that that is a social problem due to the racism in our society. I think that is false, but let’s assume it is correct for the sake of argument. Now then, what’s easier and better for children, to live within the strictures of your “racist” society for their sake, or to place the burdens on the children themselves to confront and combat the racism in society, exposing them to enormous psycho-social risks? There’s a very good reason to give a more general interpretation to the biblical regulations against unequal yoking.

So what the PCA is saying is that the wise fathers of its church were all fools and should be repudiated. This is a corporate rejection of the Fifth Commandment. It always fascinates me the arrant progressivism of such a view, that the fathers and mothers of the past wore darkened glasses and God did not reveal His true thoughts on racial relations until the late 1950’s. Interesting timing. It accidentally coincides with the aggressive entry of liberalism into formerly conservative denominations, and coincides with the race putsch of the cultural Marxists. Amazing.
