UCSD TV show mocking blacks sparks freeze

The University of California, San Diego has halted funding for student media after a TV segment ridiculed black students outraged by a party mocking Black History Month.

The head of the campus Associated Students froze funding for 33 media outlets last week after one, The Koala, ran a student TV episode calling black students ungrateful and using a derogatory term for blacks.

We live in a humorless society.

I’m sure it is, for some people.

Considering that the article stated only 2% of the student body at UCSD, I would call them the most spoiled 2% I’ve ever heard of.

I’ve also read comments written about that particular event by current students at that school, stating that “white trash” theme parties are held all the time off campus, so what’s the big deal.

Well, now, this Black comedian claims responsibility for the whole event, which was supposed to kick off his latest DVD release. He actually makes a good point or two in his rant.

Just another decoy for the fact that UCSD wants to cater to their minority, in this case a real minority (2%).

Sounds like another black comedian milking that he can make fun of blacks while others can’t.

And yea he’s right: the media ought to have done basic research.

There’s nothing wrong with stereotyping blacks anyway though; it’s natural to laugh at the foreign.
