Having read the this Wiki article on the Harry Potter, one cannot help but think that “anti-racism” is a theme in the novels and films; in addition, the film opens with a scene of Harry lusting after a Black waitress in a coffee shop he frequents and arranging to meet her when she gets off work, only to be whisked away to further adventures by Dumbledore. Note also that the hero, Harry Potter, is half-blood Muggle and Wizard. The book/movie’s title is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, for goodness’ sake.

Star Trek (2009) glamorizes the Vulcan/Human relationship of Spock’s parents, and has the young Kirk and Spock both attracted to, and Spock actually involved in, Uhura, the Black female crew member of the Enterprise.

Laurel,

“Star Trek” has always been PC and filled with cultural marxism dating back the original TV show. Nothing new about this, it was part of 1960’s TV show too.

Aided by the scientific and philosophical teachings of the Vulcans, humans largely overcame many Earth-bound frailties and vices by the middle of the 22nd century, creating a quasi-utopian society in which exploration and knowledge replaced material wealth as the human civilization’s central pursuit. Humans then united with other sentient species of the galaxy, including the Vulcans, to form the United Federation of Planets… The conflicts and political dimensions of Star Trek sometimes represent allegories for contemporary cultural realities: Star Trek: The Original Series addressed issues of the 1960s, just as later spin-offs have reflected issues of their respective decades. Issues depicted in the various series include war and peace, the value of personal loyalty, authoritarianism, imperialism, class warfare, economics, racism, religion, human rights, sexism and feminism, and the role of technology. Roddenberry stated: “[By creating] a new world with new rules, I could make statements about sex, religion, Vietnam, politics, and intercontinental missiles. Indeed, we did make them on Star Trek: we were sending messages and fortunately they all got by the network.”1

I would not endorse Harry Potter, but it is not as bad as many other thing children are exposed to these days. See this topic for more on Harry Potter: Kinism Forum: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

A good review of the most famous pro-miscegenation film ever made:

Review: Movie. Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner(1967)

And

High School Musical, a film full of degenerate pop music, has a plot that seems to involve a White “High Basketball star” and Filipino “math-whiz” girl falling in love, with an “evil” blond girl trying to break up their relationship.

And

A Microsoft TV commercial with miscegenation: Laptop Hunters – Matt and Olivia

And

kalklokard - 24 July 2009 10:39 AM

since we are on the topic of movies, I remember seeing the fairly recent remake of planet of the apes. There was a scene where a knock-out blonde bombshell wanted to become the astronaut’s girlfriend, but he instead chose the ape lady, kissing the ape on the lips after ignoring the come-hither gestures of this blonde nordic. As he kissed the ape-lady-scientist (how often are blacks today portrayed as soothsayers and scientists?), the black women who were sitting in a row of seats directly behind me all cheered. I thought that was crazy. Not only was it a cheer for the vicarious end of race consciousness amongst whites, but evidently they viewed themselves as being loved by a white man through the ape-lady-scientist.

Levis has a new set of commercials, supposedly based on Walt Whitman’s poems. If you go to this URL, you will see a listing of all of them. The one called “America” is particularly offensive; when the word “love” is used, the shot is of an attractive, very young looking, White girl passionately kissing a young Black man. In the rest of the commercial the actors are Black and White in about equal numbers; but this particular shot is so offensive that I’d suggest writing to Levis about it except that they’d probably just laugh, because things are supposed to be like that now, you know?

A noteworthy (and sinister) plot is being launched by ABC’s the “Family Channel.”

Their catchphrase says it all:  “A new kind of family.”

ABC realizes the importance of family structure, even if most Christians are blind to it.  This is an important observation.  My parents keep their tv tuned to the family channel most of the time, preferring it to the horrible programming on other channels.  I’m sure other mom and pops do as well.  What are they being fed?

Consider the following line up of shows:

Secret Life of the American Teenager
Greek
That 70’s Show
10 Things I Hate About You (mini-series)

I’ll briefly discuss the last show by way of example:

The show centers around the adventures of two sisters in an “average” high-school.  The older sister is a neo-feminist who is passionate about feminism and the environment.  The younger sister is the all-American girl with blonde hair and a desire to achieve all the goals in her cute little “goal book.”

First goal on her list?  Being a cheerleader!  The only obstacle?  The cheer captain (and most popular girl in school) is pure evil and hell-bent on making the duo’s life miserable.  The cheer captain is a ghetto princess and all the white girls in school pine after her as if she is a semi-goddess.  And unsurprisingly, she is dating the quaterback on the football team, a blonde haired white guy.

The demographic relations among the students in this “average” high-school are ludicrous (as the above example demonstrates.)

Seems to me ABC is trying to normalize a multiracial utopia in the minds of middle-American mom and pops…softening them up to the concepts through repeated viewings.  “THIS is what high-schools are really like guys!”

I feel sorry for the kids who are stuck watching this sort of garbage.

Firefly
Serenity (feature film based on TV concept)

Plot summary for Firefly from IMDB:

Captain Malcom ‘Mal’ Reynolds is a former galactic war veteran who is the captain of the transport ship “Serenity”, Mal his crew of hired transporters, Mal’s ensign Zoe Warren, Zoe’s husband, pilot Hoban ‘Wash’ Washburne, muscular former combat soldier Jayne Cobb, young engineer Kaylee Frye, former Alliance medical officer Simon Tamm, his teenage sister River (Both on-the-run from the Interplanetary government “The Alliance”), the beautiful “companion” Inara Serra and religious man Shepard Book do legal or illegal jobs (smuggling, protecting, guns-for-hire, robberies) as the Serenity crew travels across the outskirts of Outer Space for food, money, anything to make a living on, as The Serenity crew tries to stay under the radar of The Alliance and pulls dangerous jobs in the Alliance controlled star systems.

Plot summary for Serenity from IMDB:

In the future, when a passenger with a deadly secret. Six rebels on the run. An assassin in pursuit. When the renegade crew of Serenity agrees to hide a fugitive on their ship, they find themselves in an awesome action-packed battle between the relentless military might of a totalitarian regime who will destroy anything - or anyone - to get the girl back and the bloodthirsty creatures who roam the uncharted areas of space. But, the greatest danger of all may be on their ship. From the mind of Joss Whedon, comes a new edge-of-your-seat adventure loaded with explosive battles, gripping special effects and fantastic new worlds.

Both versions feature an interracial couple, the pilot of the ship being a White man and his wife a Black woman, whose motives are consistently portrayed as being of a higher level than her husband’s. In line with the breaking down of cultural norms, the “shepherd,” a kind of holy man from a generic faith who provides wisdom and guidance to the crew, is also Black, and the engineer of the ship is a young, cute, woman. The “high status” person on the ship is a “companion” who is treated like royalty whenever she comes on the scene.

Interesting plots centering around small planets who want to rule themselves fighting in one way or another against big government, the “Alliance,” however, due to the questionable social mores in the show I can only marginally recommend it. Explaining the issues in the show, if you watch it with your children, would be wise.

Laurel,

I only watched a few episodes of it.  My thought would show is odd mix stock characters taken from stories of “tramp steamer” looking for cargo to haul, Confederate veterans wondering the post Civil War wasteland fighting Carpetbaggers, as well as various Westerns.  A rather grim show, better written than most.

It’s a very popular show among certain geekish segments of the young population who like to imagine themselves as fighting for the “lost cause.” I’ve heard the Confederacy analogies, however, don’t think it directly relates.

Laurel,

This one is far worse and it is car commercials from Europe.
Youtube:Spot nuovo Fiat Doblò 2010 : Nasce il Family Space

Why are they broadcasting this commercial in Italy? It hardly seems like something that would make Italians want to buy cars.

The one you posted looked like every darkish guy’s fantasy. Beautiful environment, tropical food, pretty blond women who love them…

Laurel,

I am not sure if this fits in this topic, but these are very odd advertisements. Are these Airwick “Air Freshener” television advertisements promoting miscegenation? First I must say “Air Fresheners” are evil and poisonous. One shows an anthropomorphic cartoon elephant married to a centipede, a giraffe married to bear, an octopus married to a walrus, a giraffe married to pig, and others show anthropomorphic cartoon animal house wives with offspring who are different species of animals. A really odd bit of miscegenation propaganda…

Here is on of them, Giraffe married to Pig?
