If you’ve done some reading over at the highly recommended Weston A. Price Foundation website, you will probably be familiar with their appraisal of the health benefits of sprouted nuts (substituted for the regular kind of roasted, salted, dead nuts at the typical grocery store).
Here is an online source for sprouted nuts after Jigsaw Health stopped carrying them. The company is Wilderness Family Naturals, and they seem to be a good source for pro-biotics and other health products.
They’re very expensive at this site, and there may be others much cheaper. You may also prefer to find a source of fresh raw nuts and sprout your own. But I’d say that with the nutritional content of sprouted nuts, you would take them in small quantites medicinally, and not as a bulk food source, much in the same way most of us who enjoy raw milk can only afford to do so in very limited quantites.
The spread of these sorts of resources can only bring down their cost to more reasonable levels.
