My point was that if you’re thinking about political parties then you’re trying to put the cart before the ox. Political parties and force flows naturally from cultural forces and local organizing, before we’ve done that trying to talk politics in a serious manner is pointless. Neither of the major parties will ever be ours again and the system is specifically designed to exclude any participation from 3rd parties. I personally believe that we’ve already pasted the point were a solution can be obtained by the ballot box; I’m readying myself to solve things by the ammo box. And with that mindset I’m doing my best to network with like-minded people and create the type of local organization that can pickup the pieces once everything goes to hell and the shooting starts.
As our sole “older lady” here, I can only hope that those of us who are not of fighting mettle or flexibility, etc. can find refuge if and when the shooting starts.
Now, a political party might be productive if it has the right foundation, but it’d be Hell to form and defend. It appears to have been Hell for the BNP, though now the BNP seems to finally be breaking through.
Imagine a Kinist political party that declared itself to be unapologetically Old American kinist.
---
While culture is the vital foundation for politics, after watching the BNP and how online forums spike activity during elections it seems politics can play an important cultural role. The politics itself then isn’t always as important as the cultural and social role being involved in politics offers.
Forming an institution and fighting are akin to building a statue or holding an annual celebration. People inside become more motivated and attached and people outside are attracted in - when such an organisation is fighting. People want to be a part of something with a purpose and goal - something that is going somewhere.
---
Of course… to form a party, there’s need of candidates and an electorate that will vote them in, even if but for dog catcher or treasurer of a tiny municipality.
Imagine a Kinist political party that declared itself to be unapologetically Old American kinist.
The headquarters would be raided before you could say “Barack the magic negro”
LOL
Sorry, I know this is off-topic, but I just had the thought that “Barack the Magic Negro” could be sung to the first line of “Puff the Magic Dragon” (with minor changes). I bet some pretty funny lyrics could be written around that idea…
Lessee…
Barack the magic negro
Thought he’d win D.C.
His skin was light
And quite a sight
A magic negro was he....
Just a start…
Really, KW, you are more than likely correct that the headquarters of such a political party would be raided forthwith. However, what is the alternative?

Yeah, I confess, I sorta stole that brilliant little bit. I don’t listen to Rush either, I can’t remember where I originally heard that. May have been SWB or Stormfront.

Well, I’m not entirely sure I could offer particular answer to that question. I happen to agree rather strongly with Von Scots’ conclusion regarding political parties. I’ve been involved with the Republican party for years now...in fact I went to the Republican convention this year as a delegate to support Ron Paul...but finding enough people to sway the GOP establishment is extremely difficult, and our message is/was old school conservatism: tiny government, free market, good currency, etc. We can’t hardly find enough people who believe in just *that* to reform the GOP; finding enough people to politically rebuild a party around a Kinist ideology I don’t believe will ever happen. Honestly, the best we can do is, imo, get into position of public influence (state house, county commissioner, city council, sheriff, etc) that effect out local communities and do what we can, individually, there.

Aargh...plagiarism!

I know what you mean about how hard it is to find people to step up to the plate for smaller government, free market, hard currency, etc. I know a lot of Ron Paulers (and not all Kinists are Ron Paulers, nor are all Ron Paulers Kinists by any stretch of the imagination) are starting to get involved in local politics. If nothing else, it’s a good start.
There’ll be bands, Irish sports (viewed on TV I mean), Irish food, etc. Sounds wonderful. And I’m invited to the opening ceremony. It should be a blast.
